FlightPlan for the future

Flights may be grounded but Inmarsat Aviation’s all-day, live broadcast event attracted an audience of thousands worldwide on April 29.

FlightPlan was conceived as a one-day, online, broadcast event in response to the cancellation or postponement of so many important aviation sector shows and conferences, to bring together experts, analysts and industry leaders to share information, insight and direction at this pivotal time.

The live event included a combination of pre-recorded programming, streamed interviews, virtual panels, live discussions, audience polls and interactive Q&As, running for seven hours on the day, and now available to watch on catch up.

A webcast that grew into aviation’s largest ever online event, with the support and participation of many of the sector’s most important voices; industry bodies including IATA, APEX, ATAG and the European Space Agency, major airlines like Delta, Avianca and JAL, the global aerospace media, industry consultants, and leading aviation businesses including Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Panasonic, Collins and Honeywell, as well as a few special guests, like our own Rory Sutherland.
